B.C. driver who killed dad, punched teen son gets 2 years

Back in July 2010, Allan Simpson Wood, 39, from White Rock, was driving twice his speeding limit and collided with Bryan McCron. Wood collided head on with McCron, killing Bryan and injuring Bryan's 17-year-old son Connor. When Connor McCron was trying to call 911 at the scene to save his father life Allan was punching Connor so he couldn't make the call. Allan has received a two year sentence as well as 3 months for violently punching Connor. Bryan's family is satisfied with the charges. His sister, Vicki Marci, said they don't have much control but are accepting it, even though it wont bring her brother back.

I personally think that Allan Woods should receive a higher sentence. It was his fault for his reckless driving but over that he was abusing Bryan McCron's son over calling 911 and trying to save his fathers life. He shouldn't have tried to prevent his son from calling 911, I guess it was out of fear.
